Hello everyone,

We are planning for a 7 day trip to Switzerland in month of March. Our stay locations will be Zurich, lucerne and interlaken. Main spots of attractions are juanfraojoch, Titlis, Rhine falls etc. Is it ok to travel in the month of March? Will Junafraujoch be open during that period? Will like to have some tips about the places we want to visit and also the suitability of the weather conditions. Both us are in our mid twenties and we will not mind an adventurous tour.

Thanks for joining MySwissAlps! March can be a good time, depending on what you expect. Hiking in higher areas won’t be possible, for example. Thanks for your positive reply.

During March is it possible to visit Junfraujoch, Mount Titlis, Pilatus by train or by cable car? If not what are the other places where we can go for skiing or enjoy snowfall?

You’re welcome! You can visit all those sites. Only the cogwheel train to Pilatus will be closed, but you can still reach it by cable car.
