Almost a day in Zurich for Rhine Falls & shopping

    Hi,

    We are reaching Zurich at 9:00 AM and then staying there that day.

    We are planning to

    1. Visit Rhine Falls
    2. Zurich Sightseeing
    3. Some shopping

    Is the time sufficient for this? Till what time are the shops open in Zurich?

    Hi Sabaji,

    As long as you are not here on a Sunday most shops are open until 5 or 6pm (a few major chain stores are open later. All stores are closed Sundays, except those at the train stations, airports and one or two others.

    A trip to the RheinFall will take about 1 hour each way on the train. 4 to 5 hours for the whole trip is more than sufficient.
