Dear travelers,
The Alpine Ticket for Swiss bus routes will be discontinued as of December 14, 2014. The ticket was a supplement that was required for bus routes across mountain passes and other uninhabited areas. So this is good news; Swiss Travel Pass holders can now enjoy these bus routes without paying anything extra. Regular point to point bus tickets will become a bit more expensive.
