    Hi,

We are reaching Zurich early morning by 6:20 am flight. We would like to freshen up, have a bath perhaps, change and proceed to Zurich Zoo after leaving our luggage at “Left Luggage” at airport, before coming back and proceeding for Luzern in the afternoon.

Do they ( Zurich Airport ) have any such facility after Baggage Claim ? They have transit hotels inside but not after baggage claim.

Also, are “Public Conveniences” in Switzerland free or chargable ?

    Thank You

    Hi bsrastogi72,

There are showers in the public area: at the Service Center, car park 2, level 1 .
https://www.zurich-airport.com/passengers -and-visitors/airport-services-en/layover-and-lounges/showers The left luggage office is also located here.

Public conveniences are most definitely chargeable in Switzerland. Showers are 15chf for 30 minutes.

    HI

if you are arriving through Swiss air, they have a arrivals lounge to freshen up. Other option is as told car park 2.

Theres a luggage service provided by SBB train company wherein your luggage may be directly dropped either at the hotel of your choice or at the train station you want by the evening, in your case Luzern. So kindly check their website too. That way you can enjoy Zurich zoo and then travel straight away to Luzern without coming back.

Public toilets are usually chargeable but then other that showers, large stores and eateries do have toilets for customers 😉

    takecare
