Any recommendation on hotels near Zurich station?

    Greetings, we are planning a 2 day trip to Zurich and 3 days to Lucerne. Will be reaching Zurich from Venice, and then onto Lucerne.

    Plan is as follows:

    Zurich -> General Site-Seeing

    Lucerne -> Excursions to Jungfraujoch, Mt. Titlis and Matterhorn

    So, the help I am seeing as below:

    • Does the above itinerary looks fine ?
    • While in Zurich, shall I plan to book a hotel near the Zurich HB station, so that I am close to train station for taking Venice and Lucerne train

    Your itinerary looks fine if you are ok with the traveling times. Jungfraujoch and the Matterhorn require a lot of time traveling, so there’s less time for sightseeing those days. There is a lot to see much closer to Lucerne too: http://www.myswissalps.com/lucerne/activities.
