Hi There Sorry to be posting again. We are still trying to decide what travel pass to purchase. We are looking towards the Swiss Travel Pass even though we are only travelling for 4 days. Our main train fare is from Geneva Airport to Lauterbrunnen, does anyone have any idea of the approximate cost of this fare as we think that will be our most expensive trip. We then intend to travel in the Wengen area and see as much as we can Grindelwald, some of the gondola trips and some of the other small villages etc and do some walking. We need to decide soon as we want to take advantage of the discount on the Swiss Travel Pass until the end of March. Thanks again and hope someone can help

    Hi Maxles,

You can find prices for point to point tickets here – this route seems to be around 70 Euro per person depending on your date of travel.

I think you are best off taking the 3 or 4 day Swiss Travel Pass – everything is included and you can just jump on any train you wish – super easy! A few trips are only discounted though, so be sure to check the areas of validity before buying.

Hi Lucas Thanks so much for that, I am pretty sure we will go for the Swiss Travel Pass, sounds so much easier and there is a bit of a promotion on in AUD until end of march which we will may as well take advantage of, thanks again much appreciated Maxine
