I don't like the Arcobaleno website, it is not as easy to use as other tariff area web sites.

You need to look at the zonal map and carefully work out how many zones you would travel in or through on your proposed day.

In think you will need an 'all zones' ticket as Bellinzona - Lugano - Morcote appears to cross at least six different zones:

Go to the web page below on download the MAP (Piano zone Arcobaleno)

Ok, so it is not in how many zones you will stay, but how many zones to pass thought.

Thamks for your help.

Hi Lucyturc,

If your travel plan is specific to Bellinzona, Lugano and Morcote, you can buy a 6-zones Arcobaleno Day Pass for abt CHF 15 (discounted with the Swiss Half Fare Card). An all-zones day pass will cost slightly more.

In the SBB timetable, enter Bellinzona as your point of departure and Morcote as your destination. Add Lugano as your via station (and any other stops you wish) to display the number of zones and appropriate ticket to purchase.

You can find more information about getting around in Lugano here: www.myswissalps.com/lugano/travel

Regards,

Anna
