    Hi again!

My flight to Europe is tomorrow, so quite excited. And I really want to thank everyone who responded to my tons of queries for enabling this trip.

One last-minute query: are all coaches on the Luzern-Interlaken express and the Golden Pass express (Zweisimmen to Montreux) panoramic or only some of the coaches are panoramic? If not all, then which ones are panoramic and how to spot them while boarding the train?

    Hi Vidhi,

All coaches on the Luzern – Interlaken Express are the same. They aren’t quite considered panoramic though but the windows are bigger than regional trains and there are more of them.

All the carriages on the panoramic trains between Zweisimmen and Montreux are panoramic yes. I don’t believe I’ve ever seen a mix of carriages. But not all trains on that route are panoramic. 🙂

On the timetable, the panoramic trains are noted as MOB Panoramic: https://www.myswissalp s.com/timetable
