Hi Dmturner1718 and welcome to MySwissAlps!
It depends on what rail pass you are referring to as there are many. If you are talking about the Swiss Travel Pass, boat trips on Lake Geneva are for free on the pass as you can read about here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity
Hope this answers your query. More about the area here: http://www.myswissalps.com/la kegeneva and http://www.myswissalps.com/la kegeneva
All the best for your trip!
Maria.

Almost all Swiss carry a half fare travel card.
Since you did not specify which kind of ail pass you meant, they probably assumed that you meant that one.

Hello,
Yes, you have to be sure to use the proper name for your pass, as there are many and they carry different benefits. I hope that you will avail yourself of the CGN as the scenery is unforgettable. Try to ride on one (or more) of the Belle Époque fleet. The eastern end of the Léman is particularly beautiful, and if you have time, go over to the medieval village of Yvoire the French shore. I tried to put links for Belle Époque and Yvoire, but once again, it became impossible to post. So I will remove the links and see how it goes.
Links are below, next post.
