Hello. The Graubunden Regional Pass used to be divided into zones and it was necessary to select which zones you wished to travel in. I see that the map posted on the Swiss Travel site still shows numbered zones but the pricing seems to relate to the whole area. Does this mean that there is just the one ticket now covering the whole region? Thanks.

    HI Gladysknight,

The graubündenPASS only has two zones now: north and south. Many websites only offer the full pass for both zones, as that’s what most people want (it allows flexibility). You’ll find the latest details and a map through myswissalps.com/ graubundenpass. The tabs on that page offer a map, buying options (online is slightly cheaper) and more details.

Many thanks for your explanation of the current Graubunden Pass. The map on MySwissAlps showing the area of validity is a lot clearer than the one shown on the Swiss Travel site, so thanks for that, too. I have just booked a trip to Davos through Inghams Lakes and Mountains, and their current price for the 5 out of 14 day pass is £101, which seems a little cheaper than elsewhere, in case anyone else is interested.

    Hi Gladysknight,

You’re very welcome! Thanks for your feedback. I had a look at their website, and it looks like the trip you booked includes a Swiss Half Fare Card. If so, the price of £ 101 is about the regular price as Swiss Half Fare Card holders get a 25% discount on the graubündenPASS. You can use the Swiss Half Fare Card on the days you aren’t using the pass, or to get discounts on cableways not included in the pass.
