I came through Zürich airport yesterday, and noted only one (Travelex) exchange booth in the arrivals hall. I was in a hurry, so I did not check their exchange rates this time, but usually, they are not good.

Just outside exit from the arrivals hall into Swiss public space, on the left, about 50 meters from the exit of the arrivals hall, is a Credit Suisse location with ATM’s. That is where I would exchange money, if I had a credit card or (USA) debit card. The large banks give the best rates, in general. There are also several locations at Zürich main station. Raiffeisen Bank has one on the Limmatquai, not far from my usual hotel, the Hotel Adler.

Already spending CHF like a tourist. 😉

Weather has been and is forecast to be terrific.

One exception, my sentimental trip to Rigi-Kaltbad on Friday. ;-(.
