We will be traveling from Basel to Brussels in Oct. Is there a pass that we may be able to use that would help with the cost of a point to point ticket? thank you

If you are planning a lot of travelling in Europe, you might want to consider getting an multi-country Eurail Global Pass.

Thank you Anna. Would I be able to use a swiss half fare pass on train tickets to Brussels. We are only traveling from Switzerland to Belgium. thanks

Hi Njk50,

I’m afraid you won’t be able to get any discount on your point-to-point ticket from Basel to Brussels as the Swiss Half Fare Card is only valid in Switzerland: https://www.myswissalps.com/swisshalffarecard/validity. Basel is basically at the border.
