Difference between Beatenberg & Beatenbucht?

    Hi

    Are Beatenberg and Beatenbuht different places?? The bus from Wilderswil takes to Beatenbuht as by SBB time table…..Can I walk from Beatenbuht to Beatenberg then?? Is the view same from both the places?

    No, they are two different places.

    Beatenberg village on a small hill overlooking Lake Thun and you can take a funicular from Beatenbucht to Beatenburg in about 11 minutes – just search the SBB timetable🙂
