we are 8 people. we will be in Grinelwald from Sept.23 thru 27. need help in planning.

Grindelwald to lake Thune boat ride one way and then go to Bern

or

do a round trip in lake Thune , visit Interlaken and come back to Grindenwald , our base and do separate one day trip to Bern.

Do the two trips separately, as there is plenty to see in Bern – not least the Bear park.

In all Swiss cities ticket machines at main transport hubs sell all types of ticket including day passes. You will find plenty in the tram/bus station outside Bern main railway station.

If about half a day in Bern is enough for you, then you can for sure combine your visit with a boat ride on Lake Thun. Dear Annika,

we all bought only HFC .

we will do Jungfrau, Shilthorn, Lake Thune lake cruise. What else can we do since our base is in Grindelwald Grund. we will do visit Interlaken when we visit Lake Thune boat ride

Brienz – Rothorn (steam rack railway) and Schynige Platte (electric rack railway with ancient 100+ year old locomotives) are still open in September, as is the Aare gorge. All in your area.
