    Hello once again everybody.

Travelling from Tirano to Chur on the Bernina express takes about 4 hours. This train leaves Tirano at 3.00pm in the afternoon heading to Chur. Are we going to see much at this time of day during April or will it be getting too dark.

Next day we intend to take the Glacier express from Chur to Zermatt, is this possible, at roughly what time does the train leave Chur and from which station.

    Thanks

    Hi WallabyBob,

According to the internet , sunset will be at 19:54 on April 1 and get a little later each day – so you should be ok, especially if you leave later in April.

You can search for the train timetables here to plan your trips. The Glacier Express is labeled as GEX and the Bernina Express is BEX on the timetables. However, the timetables are not set for next spring.

You will have to wait until early next year (3 months before travel date). There will be one, perhaps 2 departures per day for the Glacier Express & the Bernina Express.
