We are planning to take Bernina Express return journey on 7th October. Till yesterday we could see the wagon layouts and seat availability for the train. We have bought a Swiss travel pass and just need to make reservations. Today when we logged in to make reservations, there is no sign of the train. First we assumed it was sold out but it is showing no direct connection from Chur to Tirano for whole month. Has there been a change in the timetable? We are really confused now. Can anyone please guide us?

Thanks a lot everyone. Just checked the website again and it is working now. Probably the server was down last night. (really gave us a scare!) Will now be booking the tickets. Any tips on which wagon and seat numbers will be ideal for best vies on both sides of journey.

That’s great. Did u take the panoramic train or regular ones running on the route? If you took the Bernia express than can u give us an idea of the best seats?

Thanks ! We managed to make the reservations finally. The website was probably down yesterday and we panicked thinking the tickets r sold out!
