My wife and I will be traveling during April, one week in Lugano area and five or six days at Weggis. Mostly we plan to hike in the Ticino area and Luzern area. In all likelihood we'll have a car while in Ticino. Our public transport needs will include:
1. two short ferry rides on Lake Lugano,
2. one-way funiculars at San Salvatore and Monte Bre.
3. train from Lugano to Luzern
4. Two round trip ferries from Luzern to Weggis
5. Funicular from Weggis to M. Rigi
6. Weggis to Pilatus funicular
7. One-way Luzern to Zurich
