Hi Friends,

We will be in interlaken from 23- 25 Sep this year. We will be staying near interlaken west station. We are planning to do cruise on 25 th Sep entire day. We see there is a boat dock close to interlaken west station. How do we spend the day on Lake Thun cruising covering most of the attractions on the way.

A typical cruise on Lake Thun doesn’t take the entire day, but you can combine it with other activities to make full day trip out of it. Here are some thoughts:

• boat Interlaken West-Thun, then a visit to Bern (http://www.myswissalps.com/be rn) by train;
• boat Interlaken West-Thun and back to Spiez, then a side trip to Niesen via Mülenen (http://www.myswissalps.com/ni esen) or, if you don’t mind traveling a bit farther away, a visit to Stockhorn from Erlenbach;
• boat Interlaken West-Thun and back, with a stop at Beatenbucht and visit to Niederhorn and/or the Beatus caves.
