We will be taking Glacier Express from Zermatt to Andermatt. Which side of first class car to seat on? Also seats on bus from Lugano to Ticino and Bernina Express to Chur first class car.

    Hi Sporty,

We don’t think there is too much difference on either side of the Glacier Express. Perhaps the right side after Brig at least. We talk about the route in detail here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/glacierexpress/g ettingthere

Same for the Bernina Express, we explain the route and seating preferences here: https://www.myswissalp s.com/berninaexpress/g ettingthere
Right on the train and left side of the bus if you can.

    >> Which side of first class car to seat on? Also … Bernina Express to Chur first class car.

Please note that you can’t book a seat on a particular side of the train, or facing forwards/backwards, as the direction of travel of the carriage is not known in advance. When there are two of you, booking window seats facing each other is a good idea.
