Best stop between Glacier Express & Bernina Expres

    We will be traveling on the Hlacer Express from Zermott and the next day traveling the Bernina Express. Do you recommend us staying in Chur, St Moritz, or Petresina?

    I stopped at Chur and found it a good break. From Zermatt to St Moritz is a long stretch – high risk of nodding off.

    Pontresina would require further train from St Moritz.

    If I was picking the stop based on prettiest town or perhaps most things to see/do I’d go with St. Moritz. But it is another 2 hours past Chur.
