I find the tiny food stalls along hiking trails interesting. They’re often right next to a farm. I’ve seen them for cheese, wine, fruit and various other products. There’s often nobody around and you can leave your money in a box. I did see a few with camera surveillance. No places to recommend, you’ll have to run into them.

The Coops and Migros are the way to go I think. I don’t think of Switzerland and street food in the same sentence usually! Train stations will also have cheap(er) fast food /take away options
