In August, crossing Switzerland from West border with France to the East border with Italy what are the best or more interesting street foods, Coops or Migros that would sustain travelers rather than restaurant fare.

Hi Admiral72,

I find the tiny food stalls along hiking trails interesting. They're often right next to a farm. I've seen them for cheese, wine, fruit and various other products. There's often nobody around and you can leave your money in a box. I did see a few with camera surveillance. No places to recommend, you'll have to run into them.

The Coops and Migros are the way to go I think. I don't think of Switzerland and street food in the same sentence usually! Train stations will also have cheap(er) fast food /take away options
