i will be traveling from Venice to lauterbrunnen July 14th 2018, with another passagnger. What is the fastest and most scenic train available ?

Hi Vuletic8 and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Fastest and most scenic is often mutually exclusive. You have two somewhat direct and certainly nice options for this route:

1. Venice to Milan to Locarno and then take the Centovalli Express to Domodossola and on to Brig and Lauterbrunnen.
2. Venice to Milan to Lugano and take the Gotthard Panoramic Express to Flüelen and then change to Lauterbrunnen.

The Swiss railways timetable will give you the most direct/fastest options by default so you can compare.

If you want to buy a ticket to Interlaken and not worry about the scenic route options (just direct options) you can do so here. Generally, the further out you book the cheaper the ticket and it gets more expensive the closer to your travel date.
