    Hi,

I’ll be travelling to Switzerland with my mom in early June. Will be arriving at Zurich airport and proceed to Mürren for a 2 nights stay and then take the train to Paris. I’ve checked some forums and here’s what I found.

Zurich airport to Mürren : Train from Zürich airport to Bern to Interlaken Ost to Lauterbrunnen. From Lauterbrunnen take a cable car to Grutschalp and from there a train to Mürren. All in one ticket which I can buy at the airport. Besides this route is there any better way?

But I’m a little confused for the travel from Mürren to Paris. Which of the following is recommended.

    1. Train back to Interlaken Ost or West and then to Basel enroute to Paris

    2. Train back to Interlaken OST or West back to Zurich HBB enroute to Paris

    Thank you.

Hi Yokee, and welcome to MySwissAlps,

I would go via Basel, but please use the Swiss timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/ti metable). This will give you different options and you can choose the one that suits you best.

    Bon voyage!
