Hi

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children( 17 years and 9 years) We will be in Geneva for 2 days in April. Please recommend the best train pass / ticket for us..

1) We would like to travel Geneva to Bern

2) Geneva – Lausanne- Montreux

3 ) If possible we would like to do all above places in a day..

Please suggest best options

Hi Jranu, welcome to MySwissAlps!

If you only plan to make these train rides, you’re probably best off buying regular tickets. However, if you add some more trips a Swiss Half Fare Card for the adults and the 17 year old, and a free Swiss Family Card for the 9 year old, will be worth it.

Please note that it will be too much to visit Bern, Lausanne and Montreux all in one day from Geneva. You’d best consult the timetable to plan your trips. This allows you to find out what traveling durations are involved.
