I am trying to make seat reservations for the BEX on the 22nd July for two people, from St Moritz to Tirano and then onto Lugano. I have Swiss Travel passes but I seem unable to make seat reservations. Please help me!!!

    Hi Kym007,

Which website are you using and what is the error message you get? You’ll find reservation links here: http://www.myswissalps.com/be rninaexpress/packages.

I can’t tell from the information you have provided what the exact problem is, but this advice might help: you need to make the reservation St Moritz-Tirano and Tirano-Lugano separately.

Pick the 9:39 Bernina Express train from St Moritz, arriving Tirano 12:00.

If you try to book the whole trip in one booking, the system won’t offer the 9:30 Bernina Express as a connection between St Moritz and Tirano, because it assumes you won’t want to wait so long in Tirano before the Bernina Express bus leaves for Lugano at 14:20.

Instead, it will suggest a later departure from St Moritz, which won’t be on the Bernina Express, but will reduce the time between connections in Tirano.

Thanks everyone! The problem was as you said Alpenrose, I was trying to book through to Lugano but I have managed to reserve seats on the suggested train/bus, thanks again.
