    Dear myswissalps community,

As part of our Swiss holiday, my husband and I would like to travel on the Golden Pass line Zweisimmen to Montreux on 22/9/17 at 10.25 am. We have 8 day Swiss Travel Passes. I am trying to make a reservation, however it only shows that 2nd class seats are available. It appears that all of the first class seats have already been reserved.

What is your recommendation for the next best option – take the 10.25 panoramic in second class or change to the 11.05 Belle Epoque in first class.

    Looking forward to your advice.

Hi Merridie and welcome to MySwissAlps!

I think 2nd class is fine on this train but if you want a treat move to the Belle Epoque. It is the heritage style train which I think is great.

    Hi Merridie,

    >> Zweisimmen to Montreux on 22/9/17 at 10.25 am…it only shows that 2nd class seats are available

As of right now, there are two first class seats available, seats #65 and #66, facing each other.

Many thanks, I’ve just booked those two seats. I’m sure this will be a highlight of our trip.

That’s great! I was hoping you would see my message before someone else snapped them up.
