    Hi

We need to travel to the following places and would prefer to prebook our tickets. We have found it difficult to work out the best rail options so would appreciate some help please:

6th June – Varenna to Tirano to arrive in time to catch the 10.03 Bernina Express (we have already booked the Bernina Express).

7th June – St Moritz to Innsbruck – to arrive mid to late afternoon

We are not looking for the cheapest option but rather the most direct, easier to manage route for 2 seniors with their luggage 🙂

    Hi padgal,

No need to pre-book tickets on non-panoramic trains in Switzerland – so just the Bernina Express needs to be booked.

You can search for train timetables here. There are several direct trains that will get you there before 10:00 (about 1.5 hours trip length)

You can also search the timetable for the trip to Innsbruck (4 hours long with 4 connections).
