Bus from Grindelwald to First not gondola

    how can I take a BUS from Grindelwald to First instead of the gondolas? How long does it take?

    Hi Etiennea, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    There is no bus from Grindelwald to First, only the gondola.

    You can take the bus from Grindelwald to Grosse Scheidegg and then walk to First. Flat level path, about 1 – 1.5 hours. Bus ride about 35 minutes. You can get all schedules at http://www.sbb.ch/en

    You can also take the bus from Grindelwald to Waldspitz then walk to First. Probably 1:30-2:00 hrs. Grosse Scheidegg to First would be easier. Mark
