We are arriving in Zurich at 8PM. Will the SBB station be open for us to buy the swiss travel pass? We have to then catch the train to Interlaken from Zurich.

    Hi Dad of three,

The ticket office closes at 7 PM. It is in any case more convenient to buy your passes online, print them at home, skip the ticket office and board your train straight away. You’ll find purchase options here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price.

    Have a good trip!

Yes that’s what we did. Thank you. Some of the online agencies do not allow you to buy online if you needed it the same day. SBB allowed us to buy it online this morning.

    Glad you are all set!

Those online companies often say they need 2-3 business days but in reality you get it in your email within a few minutes.

    Happy travels!

Thank you for the help. My family enjoyed the 3 days in Switzerland. Visited JungFrau, went for the Thun river cruise and the museums in in Luzern. Will do a write up in the forum later.
