Hello there. Good afternoon to all.

I will do the valley walk from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg, then head back by bus to Lauterbrunnen. I will have the Jungfrau Travel Pass but this bus journey is not covered. So I need to buy a return bus ticket (:

I am checking from where I can buy a ticket. To travel by bus from Stechelberg Schilthornbahn to Lauterbrunnen, can I buy a bus ticket directly from the bus driver, or can I buy it from the Stechelberg Schilthornbahn Swiss PostAuto station, or at the start of my journey from Lauterbrunnen? Are there manned counters at both sites?

    Thanks

    Hi,

You can buy the tickets from the Lauterbrunnen railway station (from the counter or ticket machines). You can also purchase the tickets online: http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/switzerland/price

    Regards,

    Anna

If you are staying at a hotel in that area, ask for the free tourist card when you check in as that would cover the bus transportation.
