    Hi Santy,

    1) The best pass depends on what you will be doing in Switzerland during your stay. An 8-day Swiss Travel Pass could make sense if you pick May 31 as the start date. You can use it until May 7, including the Swiss part of your trip to and from Paris. I strongly recommend not to fly for the relatively short distance from Switzerland to Paris and back. The trains are quicker, more comfortable and more eco-friendly. It’s also cheap as you would only need tickets from Paris to the Swiss border (Basel or Geneva) because the rest is included in the Swiss Travel Pass. Book these tickets early to get the best price. Please see:

    2) There are shops selling SIM cards at the airport. I can’t tell what exactly they offer. It’s easier to arrange for this beforehand so you don’t have to spend time on that on arrival. We tested several options ourselves: myswissalps.com/simcar d.
