Hi I am traveling to Lucerne in Sept. Should I purchase the swiss pass/ family card online or when I land there in zurich? I would like to avoid long wait times. It seems the cost would be the same. Thanks.

    Hi enzaireatl,

Costs are essentially the same – some online retailers prices can fluctuate a little due to exchange rates.
You can buy the Swiss Travel Pass online from any of these retailers at about the same price (you can compare).

It is definitely worth a few extra Swiss Francs (if there is any price difference at all) for the convenience of having it emailed to you to print at home – no line-ups and an electronic back-up in case yours gets lost!

Note, you can order the Swiss Family Card for free when you buy the Swiss Travel Pass online.
