    Hi rajat,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

The Switzerland Travel Centre (https://shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com/en/product/swissPass) is the official SBB webshop for travellers and is listed on our website. You can purchase the Swiss Travel Pass directly from the link here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price (all resellers listed on the page are reliable).

Let us know if you need more info.

    regards,

    Anna

Thanks for confirming it’s official, Anna 🙂

I want to buy it on GetYourGuide to get a discount.

Get your guide does not give you a discount. The price quoted is the regular official price. For practicality and ‘safety’ (as in transport operators recognising your pass) reasons. I highly recommend you go direct to the Switzerland Travel Center, which is indeed 100% ‘official’ and has been the official tourist office for Switzerland and the Swiss Travel System for at least 70 years and is dedicated to Switzerland. Most resellers are generalist providers working all over the world.

The so called cheaper prices resellers offer often come with hidden fees or future problems.

What do you mean? I bought a 15 days pass from GetYourGuide for around 386 CHF after discount and the activity provider was Switzerland Travel Center.

Hi rajat! No worries. GetYourGuide cooperates with Switerland Travel Centre. It doesn’t really matter in your case: you’ll have a valid Swiss Travel Pass, regardless of the webshop or provider you bought it from. There are no hidden fees here. In fact, GetYourGuide offers a more favorable refund policy than Switzerland Travel Centre.

The Swiss rail passes are consciously sold through many platforms in order to reach a wider audience. Switzerland Travel Centre is the official SBB webshop, but there are many more tourist webshops, each with their own pros and cons in terms of prices, currencies, payment options, cancellation options, et cetera. The ones we selected at https://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price are all trusted and safe.

More info can be found at http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/wheretobuy.

    Hope this helps :-)!

Thanks for the information, Annika 🙂

Just to make sure, is the ticket that I’ve attached fine? I’ve removed some personal details. Also, it doesn’t have my passport number. Do I just show this when boarding any public transport?

    Hi Rajat,

Yes, this is fine. The QR code contains all the information required and this is what the ticket inspector will scan during ticket inspection. You might need to show your ID/Passport for verification.
