Buying train tickets to Wengen at Lauterbrunnen

    We booked train tickets from salzburg to lauternrunnen months agoo as we had accommodation in lauternrunnen.

    we are now staying in wengen.

    can we buy tickets at lauternrunnen station to get to wengen from a ticket office or ticket machine.?

    Hi John and welcome to MySwissAlps!

    Yes, you can use either a ticket office or ticket machine to buy your ticket onward to Wengen.
    You can also buy them online here now if you wish.

    As Lucas confirmed, you can, and they are cheap. Something like 3 CHF with a half-fare card. If you continue to Kleine Scheidegg, that same train becomes much more expensive. Intra-city ( well, village) transport is part of the public transport network, supported by the canton, and the Federation. Beyond Wengen, it is an excursion train. about 27 CHF (half fare).
