I intend to buy a lake Geneva regional pass. Can I buy train tickets online on sbb site for the discounted days. Would I buy half fare tickets?

It does not matter whether you buy these tickets from SBB, or at the station, or from any of the other ticket websites: http://www.myswissalps.com/tr aintickets/switzerland halffare/price.
