Hi, is there a cable car going up from Kandersteg station to Oeschinensee in the first week of June 2020? I saw only a schedule for mid June onwards. Thanks in advance for any information.

I am certain it will. This year, 2019, the summer schedule began May 11. 2020 wil be a similar starting date. Oeschinensee is a beautiful place to visit. Have fun.

Hi Alison86! It’s a bit confusing indeed, as the information at http://www.oeschinensee.ch/en /gondelbahn/ mentions June 15 2019 as a start date for this year’s summer schedule. However, I’m sure that I’ve seen May 11 before, just as hockeyfan did. Maybe that was a spring timetable which has now been removed from their website as it’s outdated. We’ll have to wait and see, but I think chances for a spring opening around mid-May 2020 are pretty high.
