    Hello,
I am planning to fly to Zurich and travel from there by train to Locarno.
My question is: Can I use my Swiss Card for the (‘free’) journey but to get off the train in Zurich City Centre for a few hours to explore and take a later train to Locarno without invalidating my ‘free’ jourmey to my destination?
Perhaps I should buy a ‘single’ ticket from the airport to the city?
    Thanks for your help. Terry

Hi tezman. That’s no problem. As long as you complete your journey within one day and don’t use other public transportation with your Swiss Card during the break in Zurich, it’s fine.

Locarno is one of the warmest regions in Switzerland. I’m glad you had such a good time!
