Hi Nia77 and welcome to MySwissAlps!
Yes, certainly you can bring luggage with you to Mürren. I assume you are staying in a hotel there? You can see the two route options to get to Mürren here: http://www.myswissalps.com/mu rren/travel
No issue bringing luggage on any trains in Switzerland or cable cars when needed (though it can be a bit tight on some).
Thank you very much for your fast reply. Your info relief me so much, because some of my friends told me that it will be very difficult to bring big luggages when i ride the cable car.
If you take the train from Grütschalp you don’t need to worry about the cable car at all.
…you will need to take a cable car from Lauterbrunnen to get to Grütschalp. At the Lauterbrunnen cable car station you can ask at the ticket counter and they will usually transport luggage for you to Murren, if you do not want to carry it onto the cable car yourself. They have the means to put luggage under the cable car and then onto the train when you reach Grütschalp. The cables cars are large and taking luggage on them is not a problem. Have a great trip.
Thanks Hockeyfan, good details on the luggage. Of course there is a cable car to Grütschalp. oops 😉
Thank you Lucas and hockeyfan …
As I recall, it is also possible to leave luggage at Lauterbrunnen. Could be an option to leave a bag there, if that is helpful ?
Slowpoke
Yes there are lockers in Lauterbrunnen – one size only at 5chf per day I believe.

They could leave it there but my thinking was they are staying in a hotel in Murren and need their luggage with them. Contacting the hotel may be the best idea to see what they suggest for bringing large luggage up the gondolas but I think in the end it won’t be an issue.
Yes lucas u r right. We need our luggages and thanks for all of your info. Thanks
