Can swiss pass be used more than once in a day?

I am not sure if I should buy Swiss Pass. I want to know if I can use the pass more than one time example: Can I use for Travel from Lucern to Engelberg in morning, and 50% discount on cable car in the afternoon at Engleberg and can I use the pass agian in the evening to return from Luceren to Montreux.
