What is the best way to find a rental car-landing in Munich 9/17, traveling around Switzerland until 10/2, and returning to Munich. I’ve always used Costco in the US to rent my cars-does anyone have any advice where I can get the best rate on a car rental?

Have a look at http://www.gemut.com. If nothing else, download their very valuable “guide to renting a car in Europe”. It’s not as easy and care-free as in the US. Actually a total pain in the you-know-what. IMO

We are landing in Munich-spending two weeks in both Switzerland and Germany-and leaving from Munich. There are four of us and we plan to spend a lot of time out in the country-in both places.
