    Hello,

Are there any recommendations for an Excellent Caslte within like 2 hours of Lucerne?

The Castle in Geneva seems a bit far a full day trip seems like.

    Thanks!

There are surprisingly few big castles in central Switzerland.

    Your choice would be:

TOP CHOICE = Bellinzona, with its three (yes three) castles (although they are not the clichéd ‘romantic’ type)

Spiez (Luzern – Interlaken express then local train and/or Lake Thun boat to Spiez). As a bonus there also a castle at Oberhofen on Lake Thun.

Rapperswil (Voralpen Express direct from Luzern)

And are these trains included in the Rail Pass?

    Thanks!
