Use the Swiss Timetable, and put in from Paris to Luzern via Basel for your intended date and time. It will give you the route, including where you need to change trains, and the platform numbers on which your train will arrive and from which your next train will depart.

    Hi Minal,

    >> Attached is my ticket .Can you please confirm if showing this printout is enough for boarding trains or do we need show any docs.

No, that is not your ticket, and you cannot use it to board a train.

Please read the email again carefully and thoroughly. It tells you exactly what you need to do to collect your tickets. The important information is inside the box headed “Your Travel” including the reference number you will need to use in the process.

It would be a good idea to take a printed copy of this email with you when you are retrieving your tickets, so that you have all the information you need on hand.

Hopefully the moderators can delete your attachment, as it contains personal information.

THanks once again. We will be staying from Sept 17 to Sept 21. We plan to take 4 days STP. Please confirm if that is fine. Does the cost of STP change with time or is fixed. How are cab charges in Lucerne .I mean are they costly. Where can I do paragliding in Lucerne and is this covered or discounted in STP.

    Hi Minal,

So you have a ticket to Lucerne for the 17th and will then use a 4-day Swiss Travel Pass for September 18 to 21? Sounds good to me.

The basic pass price in CHF (Swiss francs) is fixed for the year. There are several retailers to choose from, and you’ll find that some are slightly cheaper or more expensive, and those prices may vary over time. As CHF is not your home currency the price will vary by the exchange rate in any case. You’ll find your options here: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/price.

Paragliding is not covered in the Swiss Travel Pass. Please see here for what’s covered: http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isstravelpass/validity.

Hello, I see there are many tours and packages for Mt. Titlis. Do I need to select tour earlier and make booking in advance or we can do there after we reach Lucerne. We will be travelling with 4-yr old kid.

    Hi Minal,

If you prefer a guided tour you will need to book in advance. If not, it does not matter when you purchase. You’ll find the options here: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti tlis/packages

    Hi Minal,

You simply buy the discounted ticket either online, e.g. through https://www.happyrail. com/en/pass/europe/swi tzerland/panoramic-trains (select Titlis), or you show your pass when you buy it in Switzerland.

    Hi Minal,

Is this a trip in winter? If so, and if you are an experienced skier, then you can ski if you bring the equipment or rent it. That’s not included in the ticket. In summer, the Glacier Park at the top is geared to other snow activities like snow tubing: http://www.myswissalps.com/ti tlis.

    Hi Minal,

    >> train journey from Lucerne to Engelerberg is covered in STP, but how do we reserve seats

Reservations are not possible on that route. Just board the train with your Swiss Travel Pass (and your Swiss Family Card if your child is aged 6-15) and sit anywhere you like in a carriage of the appropriate class.
