I have a day set aside for Jungfraujoch, Grindewald First, Bachalpsee Lake hIke, and maybe Lake Thun or Brienz boat ride since I have the BO pass. Still on the fence about Jungfraujoch due to price, but what can I substitute for that day if I decide not to see Jungfraujoch? I already have Schilthorn scheduled on another day.

    Hi Ava T,

Instead of going all the way up to Jungfraujoch, perhaps just take the Eiger Express to Eigergletscher then take the train down to Kleine Scheidegg. From Kleine Scheidegg continue to Wengen and explore this lovely mountain village at your own pace. Details here: http://www.myswissalps.com/wengen. Then if you have time, you can take the cable car to Männlichen and return to Grindelwald via the gondola. this is assuming Wengen + Männlichen isn’t in your itinerary yet. During the winter season, Männlichen is open until 10 April. Details here: http://www.myswissalps.com/mannlichen

The Panaramaweg trail at Schynige Platte is very scenic. Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg is very scenic as well

    Hi Ava T,

How about a nice train ride up the Brienzer Rothorn or a visit to the Aaareschlucht and Reichenbach Falls? These are also wonderful excursion destinations!

    Have a great trip!
