    Hi,

I would like to take a ride in the Chocolate Train and visit the Cheese & Chocolate factories. From which station would the Chocolate train available?

    Regards / Kartik Shah

Hi Kartik, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

The Chocolate Train leaves from Montreux railway station, usually platform 6.

    It runs as follows:

    • May-June: Monday to Thursday
    • July-August: Every day
    • September-October: Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays

You can find more information here:

The Chocolate Train is a round-trip excursion package. As an alternative, you can take normal trains along the same route, but would use the train for the transfer between Gruyères and Broc instead of the bus. The stop for the cheese factory is Gruyères gare, and the stop for the chocolate factory is Broc-Fabrique. They are both on the same train line. If you decide to do it this way instead of on the Chocolate Train, you can use the Swiss Timetable to plan your trip:
