another question on the passes….we are taking the train from geneva airport to Kandersteg. Hiking for about five days to Murren(no transportation but our feet). Then hanging in Murren for three nights and going to Jungfrau if the weather is good. Then take a train to Scuol for three nights with hiking and trip to the park. We end our trip with a train to Geneve and stay two nights and take a boat ride, etc. End our trip with a bus to the airport. Is this a 8 day flexi pass trip or a 1/2 price trip or????

    Thanks so much…

    Hi Noribf,

Yes, I would look at the Swiss Half Fare Card probably. But the Swiss Travel Pass Flex could work but is quite expensive – so you would have to travel a lot on the days you use public transit to make it worth your while.

The only way to know for sure is to plan out all your trips by train, cable car, bus etc and use our Excel sheet here to do the math.

    Cheers,
    Lucas
