Christmas on Schilthorn a good idea?

    Good day dear experts, i have few questions about my trip to Schilthorn, and i hope you could give me some advices.

    1. Is it a bad idea to go Schilthorn/Piz Gloria on 23.12.18 or 24.12.18? Are the cable car services available in late December? Do we still get scenic view or it’s all foggy?

    2. If cable cars are not available, is it a good idea to visit Gimmelwald?

    Hi Cathy,

    1. It is often a good idea to visit a mountain like Schilthorn (https://www.myswissalp s.com/schilthorn) (or any) over the holidays, as many stores and restaurants etc are all closed – the mountains are operating as normal.
    2. Gimmelwald is a very, very small village. Nearby Murren (https://www.myswissalp s.com/murren) might appeal more. But they will all be very quiet on Dec. 24 (after 12pm) and Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1
