Hi Guys

We are planning a stay in Wengen over the Christmas period (23rd -27th Dec). I had originally written in this forum of taking daytrips to relatively far off places like Glacier 3000 and Zermatt- Matterhorn viewing, based in Interlaken. However, I think a stay in Wengen and visiting places in the Bernese Oberland would be a more sensible and practical choice, as advised by Alpenrose. We will have 3 full days (24th, 25th, 26th) in Wengen.

Could anyone suggest the best sightseeing in and around Wengen during these 3 days. Our preferences are winter time scenic places only with some good food and wine. No wintersports, hiking etc. We intend going to the Schilthorn (Weather permitting), which will probably take up the best part of 1 day. No plans to visit Jungfraujoch, since we have already been there on our first trip to Switzerland.

Any advice would be welcome. Thanks
