Hi

I've been googling but so confused! Hope you can help. We are staying in Arosa next week and are from England. Do we need to bring special power adapters with us? We have the normal European ones but I seem to be reading that we need something different.

Many thanks

www.amazon.co.uk/Go-Travel-Swiss-Adaptor-248/dp/B00CIW38NO Or you should have no trouble buying one in Switzerland.

The Swiss now almost exclusively use what is known as a 'type J' plug. It is hexagonal and the socket is recessed so old fashioned ordinary European 2 pin will not work

www.worldstandards.eu/ electricity/plugs-and-sockets/j/

You need an up to date multiple adapter for all countries (these include the Swiss 'J') or a UK- Swiss only

Boots (especially at airports) and outdoor shops do them
