Which pass to visit Swiss cities from Zurich?

    I would love feedback please to ensure what I am planning on doing is a good idea. Arrive in Zurich 7/23 and leave 7/31. Traveling to multiple cities within Switzerland over those days. I was going to purchase the 8day Swiss Fare for 2 adults and then just purchase a ticket from my hotel in Zurich back to the airport. We are choosing this over the Half fare or others so we have the flexibility of time to travel. Does this make sense? TIA.

    Hi Marisadvm,

    I’m not sure if Zurich is your base for day trips to different cities, or if you are staying in those cities too like you mentioned here: http://www.myswissalps.com/fo rum/topic/best-train-ticket. Either way, it sounds like you will travel a lot, so then the Swiss Travel Pass really makes sense. Is that what you meant by “Swiss Fare”?
