We were unable to reserve window seating on the Glacier Express to St.Moritz. Our seats #’s were given when we booked online. Is seating always pre-assigned? or Is it on a “First come-first served” basis?

Will our Glacier Express corridor seating impede most of the view?

What is the best way to view scenery if you have corridor seating?

Are they specific guidelines and ethical procedures for this panoramic train route?

The only place you get to choose your own seating is at shop.glacierexpress.ch /.

I wouldn’t worry too much – not every traveller can get to have a window seat. You can still see quite well out of both sides of the train from the aisle seats. The windows are pretty large.

Not that I’ve heard of. It’s no different to any other train really. But see http://www.glacierexpress.ch/ en/travel-planning/general-information/.
